Josh Dyson

Josh is Associate Director and Chartered Building Surveyor at Dabinett, joining the company in 2020. Josh has quickly adapted to a new regional location since moving across the pennies from Sheffield and has consistently delivered for clients with a high quality of work and attention to detail.

 

Key projects that Josh has recently completed at Dabinett include, multi-million-pound portfolio of HMO building surveys nationwide. Acting a Lead Consultant, Principal Designer and Contract Administrator on a several planned maintenance projects for a Charity Trust totalling over £1.5 million. Completing a range of dilapidations, defect diagnosis, planned maintenance surveys and commercial building surveying advise, to a number of key clients who manage commercial property in the Greater Manchester area.

 

Josh is also involved in the business growth by fulfilling the role of APC Councillor for the graduate surveyors at Dabinett helping with their structural learning programme at the company.

Josh’s skills include delivering quality service in a diverse range of building surveying disciplines such as;

• Pre-acquisition due diligence surveys (both residential and commercial),
• Dilapidations inspections acting on behalf of the Landlord or the Tenant.

• Detailed defect diagnosis inspections,

• Party wall matters.

Hobbies and Interests

Josh has a strong interest in sports, in particular football and keeps fit by playing squash and jogging (but is more of a fair-weather jogger).

Other interest involves a passion for fishing and classical guitar.
