Dabinett has a wealth of experience in project management schemes on behalf of schools, public bodies and charities. Involvement has been from conception which includes a feasibility report to ascertain what is possible with budgets, or with buildings and land, all the way through the project life to ultimately seeing the completion of the contract and handover of the property.

Projects that we have managed on behalf of clients include the refurbishment of offices to improve or expand the accommodation. Such building services include initial space planning and full design of office space together with the subsequent competitive tendering of projects for specifications and then running of contracts on-site with contractors. Dabinett has an in-depth knowledge of office design having worked with a range of clients with different needs whether this is a traditional style office or offices requiring flexible working with hot-desking or similar options and importantly considering new technologies and incorporating these into office accommodation.

Aside from internal office refurbishments and similar, Dabinett regularly undertakes repair and maintenance projects ensuring that the building envelopes are maintained. Our services for the public and educational sector include detailed feasibility reports can be produced to ascertain the various options. There are often several options available to a client and the client’s specific circumstances will inform a decision. Annually we undertake repair maintenance projects of a number of schools which has seen the enhancement of accommodation and importantly the best use of budgets through a desire to achieve the best value.
